My recent stay at La Chaussee D'Olivet in Olivet was absolutely delightful. The chateau itself was stunning, with beautiful gardens and unique features like a caravan and goal posts. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, giving a wonderful sense of travel and adventure. The host, Eirc, was fantastic and made our stay incredibly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for its French ambiance and overall charm.

The continental breakfast was a feast, with fresh bread, French toast slathered in homemade marmalade, and creamy yogurt. The floral garden was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the tranquility. I loved feeling like I was in a time capsule in the charming country house from 1909.

The seating area in my accommodation was a bit cramped, but who needs space when you can cozy up and pretend you're in a Parisian cafe?

The continental breakfast was a delightful surprise with its freshly baked bread and homemade marmalade. The French toast was simply divine, and the yogurt added a touch of creamy perfection. It felt like a breakfast fit for royalty!

Toilet arrangements were inappropriate.

We had a bit of trouble finding the place since we relied on our GPS, but luckily a kind local showed us the way. Once we arrived at La Chaussee D'Olivet En Mayenne, we were blown away by its unique atmosphere. The B&B was truly charming and a refreshing change from the usual places to stay. It had a cozy and rustic feel that made us feel right at home. The owner, Le Patron, has clearly put a lot of effort into creating a welcoming and special ambiance. We even wished we could bring our grandkids along, as they would have loved it too.

The romany caravan was fun and spacious, with a TV, DVD player, and free WiFi access for the little ones. They loved exploring the beautiful gardens and playing with the owner's children. The breakfast was delicious too. A perfect family-friendly retreat!

For dads, it would be great to have a playground for the kids.
